Well I️ should have titled this list “my favorite recovery poses after years of abusing my hips with harsh physical activities like roller derby, Crossfit, Olympic weightlifting, and running marathons.” This was always in derby and CrossFit warmups when I️ did those. Nowadays I️ just add them into all my sequences.
I like this pose for the same reasons as the others! Hips. Ahhh and twisting because I️ love twisting. It’s nice to open my chest and spread my arms up.
When I’m feeling lazy or tired I️ do this pose from a low lunge. I️ also like to put the other hand down and twist the other way.
